Domingo Molina Petit Verdot 2017
“Blackberries, charcoal, graphite and a twist of dark spices on the nose. The fleshy palate has some good zest and real juiciness. Tannic, but fine ground in texture. Good length. Bring out the rib eye! Drink or hold.” James Suckling
Produced by Rafael Domingo and harvested by hand, the Petit Verdot is powerful but elegant, long finish, and very well-structured wine. Intense ruby colour with hints of purple of aromatic complexity driven by a combination of aromas including red fruits, plums, and blackberries combined with caramel, vanilla, and a soft hint of mint. Ripe tannins and full body with lots of character and well-integrated oak.
