Shipping policy

We use a combination of carriers for Taninos deliveries. Please note we are experiencing the occasional delays with Australia-wide courier deliveries.

Delivery is complimentary for orders for 6 and more bottles to most metropolitan cities around Australia. It’s expensive for wine shipments to Northern Territory, Pilbara and North Queensland so, unfortunately, we have to charge a fee for these areas.

Shipping Options

Next-day delivery is available to metro Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane for orders placed before 12:00pm. Other shipments to the rest of Australia have transit times of 2-7 business days. You receive email confirmations of your delivery requests followed by track & trace emails when your orders are onboard for delivery.

Shipping Costs

Free shipping is available for all orders with 6 wines to most metropolitan cities in Australia with the exception of any promotional discount. Regional areas may be subject to an incremental fee based on order size. Express delivery is managed through our partners at DHL, Sendle, Fastway, TNT and other carriers. Shipping costs are calculated based on the size of the order and your location.

Shipping Delivery Attempts

If a parcel cannot be delivered on the first attempt, one re-delivery will be attempted.

After a delivery attempt is made, the driver will leave a card with tracking information and instructions for re-delivery or pick-up. An email will also be sent to you with this information.

Shipping re-calls, re-directs and futile deliveries will attract a fee. These fees vary from $12.50 to $15 depending on the carrier.

 

ORDER STATUS & CANCELLATIONS

Order Confirmation

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email following the checkout process. The order confirmation contains your invoice number and all relevant details relating to the order.

Order Processing

Orders will be processed within 48hs they are received. Orders placed after 11:00pm (AEST), may be fulfilled the following business day.

Order Shipment

Once we have processed the order, a confirmation email will be sent to you. The email will contain a link and tracking number for the shipment. For more information on delivery times around Australia see ‘Shipping’.

Modifying or Cancelling Your Order

You can modify or cancel your order as long as it has not been packed and/or shipped. We will do our best to accomodate any changes or cancellations before shipping. To modify your order please email hello@taninosdelsud.com.au with your order number.

RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

As wines are very sensitive to the surrounding environment and perishable if not taken care of, we do not offer change of mind refunds. For orders where a mistake has been made, please let us know within 30 days of receiving the order.

Damaged Parcels

Our policy with our couriers is to return damaged items back to us. The following process will occur for damaged items:

  • If package has been confirmed damaged by the courier, Taninos will send out a replacement box.
  • Any out-of-stock items that are damaged can be refunded or replaced.
  • Refunds will take up to 15 days to process.

Returning an Order & Return to Sender

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If an incorrect address is used and the item is returned to sender, unfortunately we will have to charge you for the cost of this service.
